An introduction to exodromy

The monodromy correspondence classifies locally constant sheaves on a topological space as representations of the fundamental group. By work of MacPherson, Treumann, and Lurie, there is a similar classification of constructible sheaves, as representations of a category. This talk will be an introduction to this circle of ideas, with an emphasis on examples.
