Translation surfaces and end periodic maps

Starting from certain affine diffeomorphisms on infinite translation surfaces,
we used end periodic maps to construct examples of pseudo-anosov affine maps
on finite translation surfaces. This is joint work with Ahmad Rafiqi 
and Harry Baik.
