Homotopy theory in a world without inverses

Higher categories can be thought of as directed analogues of spaces: while all paths in a homotopy type are invertible, higher categories also contain genuinely non-invertible morphisms.
In this talk, I will discuss to what extent the methods of classical homotopy theory can be extended to this directed setting.
