IMPRS Minicourse he aim of the minicourse is to give a survey of a strinking relationship among the
Kashiwara-Vergne conjecture about a peculiar property of the Baker-Campbell-Hausdorff
formula for finite-dimensional Lie algebras and the theory of Drinfel'd associators, recently
discovered by Alekseev-Torossian. This led, among other things, to the discovery of another
explicit (although not rational) Drinfel'd associator, constructed by means of deformation
quantization methods (this last topic will be touched perhaps at the very end)".
