We answer the question posed by Davis: „When is the underlying space of an orbifold a topological manifold?“. It amounts to the classification of finite linear groups over a real vector space such that the corresponding quotient space is homeomorphic to the initial vector space. We also discuss the same question in the PL and bi-Lipschitz category.
