Three torsion in the class groups of cyclic cubic extensions

Classical results describe the 2-torsion in the class groups of
quadratic extensions, and they can even be used to describe the 4 and
8-torsion as well.  In this talk, I will try to generalize some of those
results over to the case of 3-torsion in the class groups of cyclic cubic
extensions.  This is joint work with Abtien Javanpeykar and Peter
Stevenhagen.
