We will talk about a spherical design, one of important combinatorial structures, of the shells of the D4 lattice and its connection to the theory of modular forms, such as weighted theta functions, non-vanishing and congruences of the Fourier coefficients and so on. This is a joint work with Masatake Hirao and Hiroshi Nozaki.
