Short introductory talks.
The study of Feynman integrals in high-energy physics leads to an interesting family of complex algebraic hypersurfaces indexed by graphs. Their geometry and topology is a reflection of the underlying combinatorics of matroids, but apparently in intricate and mostly unknown ways. Can a physically motivated construction provide a new tool in matroid combinatorics?
