Low dimensional topology seminar

Stephan Friedl (Uni Köln), Matthias Kreck (HIM) and Peter Teichner (MPIM) will be running a "Low dimensional topology seminar" Mondays 6-7 pm at the MPIM in Bonn, starting on from October 4, 2010.

Since there is only a small local community in this field, the talks will be aimed at a general mathematical audience.  We invite everybody to join us, particularly young people who are curious about this field in which pictures are turned into real mathematics. There will be a social get-together after the seminar.
