Locally unsplit families of rational curves on Fano manifolds

We will talk about a classification result for "locally unsplit" families of rational curves of large anticanonical degree on Fano manifolds. In particular, we give new examples of such families of curves, whose variety of minimal tangents at a general point is singular. This is a joint work with Stéphane Druel (Institut Fourier, Grenoble).
