The quotient of a metric space by an isometric group action inherits a natural
quotient metric. In the talk we discuss recent joint work with Claudio Gorodski,
Alexander Lytchak and Ricardo Mendes on the existence of universal lower
diameter bounds for quotients of spheres by isometric group actions and related
questions.
