[Reading Group] Spectral Aspects of Expander Graphs

This talk will introduce expander families and the combinatorial Laplacian, emphasizing the role of spectral gaps in measuring expansion. It will then discuss how group-theoretic constructions provide natural families of graphs with uniform spectral gaps.
