Abstract:

The aim of the next talks is to present a result of Bridgeland and Smith, characterising some spaces of stability conditions associated to surfaces via quadratic differentials. In this talk, after a general discussion about tilts on triangulated categories and their effect on spaces of stability conditions, we introduce a class of CY3 triangulated categories defined using quivers with potentials. We then use this machinery to produce spaces of stability conditions associated to triangulated surfaces.
