Good scientific practice

Our institute prioritizes adherence to high scientific standards. Honesty and good scientific practice are essential for expanding knowledge and earning public respect. The Max Planck Society has established basic rules to ensure good scientific practice and address misconduct, see the attached PDF below. These rules consider recommendations from the Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft and apply to all researchers within the Max Planck Society.

An ombudsperson, elected by the scientific staff of the institute, provides advice on scientific practice-related conflicts.

Our current ombudsperson is Christian Blohmann.
