Equivariant homotopy theory and the assembly map

This talk will give an outline of the joint work with Carlsson focused on proving the Isomorphism Conjectures for the group rings R[G], where R is a ring of finite homological dimension, and G is a group with finite BG and belongs to the large class of groups of Strict Finite Decomposition Complexity.
