Analysis on path space and Ricci curvature - part 3

In this lecture series, we'll explain how solutions of the Einstein equations and the Ricci flow can be characterized via analysis on path space PM, generalizing the well known characterizations of supersolutions via analysis on M. We will first explain the basic ideas and review the relevant background. Next, we will describe a new Bochner formula for martingales on PM, which generalizes the classical Bochner formula for the heat flow on M. Finally, we will explain how our new Bochner formula implies the characterizations.
