The technique of descent has been widely used to prove that Brauer-Manin is the only obstruction to weak approximation and Hasse principle on some geometrically rational varieties. This "descent" usually refers to descent under torsors. I will investigate an analogue with respect to possibly ramified (geometrically) Galois covers."
