Automorphism-invariant random subspaces of a locally compact vector space over a finite field, and IRS in hyperbolic and mapping class groups

We will describe a classification of random subspaces in the infinite dimensional vector space over a finite field, which are invariant with respect to full linear group. We will also discuss its connection to the constructions of IRS (invariant random subgroups) in groups of geometric nature.
