Multiple polylogarithms and the Steinberg module

I will talk about a surprising connection between multiple polylogarithms and the Steinberg module,
and show how it can be used to producevnew interesting functional equations for polylogatithms,
in particular, proving that all multiple polylogarithms of a given weight and depth can be expressed
via a single function. The talk is based on a recent joint work with Steven Charlton and Daniil Rudenko.
